- Looking a bit ahead, June's monthly social is a trip to the Playhouse Whitley Bay to see a production of Fawlty Towers. Get your tickets (£10 each) by handing in the form at the bottom of this page at any pool session.
Information for members who are pool and/or beach lifeguards: - A programme of regular pool and beach lifeguard training for 2010 has been put together, including regular pool fitness sessions. Contact

- Lifeguards are also welcome to join in the current beach lifeguard course which is running on Saturday afternoons until mid-March.
- Regular lifeguard meetings have also been set up to provide a forum to discuss and develop training ideas - the minutes from the latest meeting are attached at the bottom of this page and the next meeting is on Saturday 6th March.

2010 membership - all members should have received their 2010 membership cards, either at the pool session or through the post. If there are any 2009 members still needing to renew then you can download 2010 membership forms from the How to join page. Whitley Bay Town Cup - The Whitley Bay Town Cup 2009 was presented to NSVL at the Council meeting on 21st January 2010. You can find out more about the Whitley Bay Town cup here. It's behind you...
