Over 16s can come along to any of the senior sessions listed in the 'Upcoming' panel at the top of the page for a free taster session, with absolutely no obligation to join.  These sessions include pool or beach lifeguard training, life support or general senior swimming sessions.

Whether you want to join to learn essential lifesaving skills, get fit, gain qualifications for employment, or just have a swim, we have activities for all ages.  We have a number of members across the UK, so if you can't make it to one of our training sessions but would like to support the club then you can join and keep up to date with all that's going on in the club.

Membership is only £20 per year for adults and £10 per year for under-18s, and you get loads of great benefits.  Download a membership form and send it along with a cheque made payable to NSVL, or hand it in at any session.  Please note that there is a waiting list for junior lifesaving.

Junior members aged 16 or 17 should also complete the Contact Permission Form if possible.

Existing members are reminded that they must stay in continuous membership to be eligible for all the benefits of being a club member, such as at cost lifeguard renewals. The membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August, and membership must be renewed by 31st September to be considered in continuous membership.
