Beach Lifeguard Course, February 2014

Beach Lifeguarding is a fun, rewarding and challenging job.  The RLSS UK National Beach Lifeguard Qualification (NBLQ) is recognised by beach operators across the UK and Ireland and covers all the skills involved with rescue, resuscitation, first aid and beach supervision.  Many of those who have completed the NBLQ course with NSVL have gone on to work on local beaches in North Tyneside, Sunderland and Hartlepool, as well as further afield.

NSVL will run a Beach Lifeguard course from 22nd February, subject to numbers.  Those interested must be able to attend a pre-course swim test on Saturday 15th February, 6:30pm at Tynemouth Pool.  Applicants must be able to swim 400m in 8 minutes or less.

Date/times: Saturdays from 22nd February, times to be confirmed.
