An IRB similar to what we hope to buy

• The final total raised from the 2007 Boxing Day Swim was a massive £1,291.53 (excluding Gift Aid).
• The Morrisons bag pack on Sunday 13th January raised over £900.
• The GoodFund (from the Postcode Lottery) has given us a £2,500 grant towards our new Inshore Rescue Boat. This gives us £6,800 in the IRB fund which is about enough to buy the boat and engine, but we need to raise a further £2,000 to purchase the necessary ancillary equipment, provide secure storage for the boat and to train our instructors and drivers.

A great many thanks to everyone who has taken part in fundraising events to make them such a success, and also to everyone who has supported us.
