All members should have received a Christmas card and newsletter from the club. Enclosed in the mailing were the November Newsletter, a (slightly early) Christmas card, a Boxing Day Swim sponsorship form and a Boxing Day t-shirt/NSVL Clothing order form.
Those not collected on Sunday were sent out by post - so if you have changed address this year and not informed us you may not get yours. If this is the case you can download the documents from the Download Area. 2006 membership is current until the end of December, but renewal forms have been sent out early so you can renew before the expense of Christmas. To make things easier for existing members, we have printed the details we hold for you but please make sure you check these details carefully, correct any mistakes, amend any details that have changed and add in your e-mail address (if applicable) if we do not hold one for you. Please also sign the Gift Aid declaration if you are an income tax payer so that we can claim Gift Aid and make your money go further. Lifeguard members must stay in continuous membership of the club to qualify for cost-price renewals, otherwise a fee will be charged to renew your qualification. Members aged 16 and 17, or turning 16 through the year also have an additional parental permission form in order that we can hold your personal mobile phone and e-mail contact details. Please ensure your parents sign this form before you return it. Junior members are those who are under-18 on 1 January 2007. If you turn 18 during the year, the additional £5 can be paid to give you full adult membership and voting rights. Please note: All membership renewals must be completed before 31 January 2007 otherwise you may not be eligible for the benefits of being in continuous membership. For insurance purposes, those who attend club sessions and use club equipment will not be allowed to do so until they have renewed their membership, so for regular members and Rookies please ensure your membership is paid before Christmas. Membership can be renewed in person to any Committee Member, at the tuck shop on a Sunday evening or via post. Payment can be made in cash or cheque payable to ‘NSVL’. |
