Check out the Whitley Bay News Guardian this week and you might just think you're reading the NSVL News Guardian, with two articles about the club in this week's edition following a run of stories over the past few weeks.
The club's new Nipper boards made the front page and Rookie competition success was printed further in, both articles accompanied with colour photos. But we're not intentionally hogging the headlines! As the photos for both articles were taken on the same day last month, the Nipper boards article had been held back from release at our end so that it didn't appear in close succession to the competition story as the same Rookies were in the photos. However, the News Guardian delayed the report on the Competition for a month meaning that they both ended up in the same edition. All good publicity! |
