A new sport and leisure Centre is scheduled to open in Killingworth in spring 2007. The Lakeside Centre is an exciting £9.5 million, state-of-the art development which overlooks the lakes in Killingworth. It has a 25m, six lane main pool, teaching pool, a multi-use 6 court sports hall, up-to-date soft play and conference facilities and a modern Contours gym suite.

The new centre will require a full complement of staff and jobs are now being advertised.

POSTS 1-11: 37 hours per week.
POSTS 12 - 13: 16 hours per week.
POST 14: 19 hours per week.

This is an ideal opportunity to work in a brand new facility where second-to-none sports provision will be given. We are looking for key players who possess excellent customer care skills.

You will provide an efficient and friendly service while working as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.

You will supervise and ensure the safety of public at all times.

You will require a current RLSS pool lifeguard qualification and a relevant first aid certificate.

A relevant sports qualification is desirable.
