 Improve your strokes! Swim coaching sessions will now be running on alternate weeks (2nd and 4th week of the month) to
help members improve their swimming strokes and timed swim times.
A number of members have expressed an interest in swim coaching and
as the majority of our members do not come from a competitive swimming
background it is always something that needs work.
The sessions
will be open to all adult members, and will be especially useful to those
training for beach lifeguard timed swims. John Milburn and Donna Robson will be running
the sessions, both of whom have a background in competitive swimming.
The sessions will be run on a
fortnightly basis (with lifeguard training being available on the
alternate week) and will continue so long as there is demand for them.
Please note: Members joining in with the session will be expected to wear tight fitting swimwear.
