Our committee is responsible for managing NSVL. All members of the committee are volunteers who give up a little of their time towards the running and development of the club. Recently for a whole host of reasons long serving members have moved on, or given notice of their intention to do so.

KNOWN VACANCIES

The positions of Treasurer, Equipment Officer and Fundraising Officer have recently become vacant, adding to the already vacant position of Vice Chairman. It’s likely that the positions of Chairman and Social Secretary will become vacant later this year.

Consequently more and more tasks have fallen onto the same people, something that can't continue. It's important that we get more people involved, so that the club runs on a team basis, not dependent on the selfless efforts of those remaining.

ARE YOU INTERESTED?

Those aged 18 or over are eligible to join the committee. Full support will be given to those taking up posts, which are not difficult or too time consuming. If you think you might be interested then contact our chairman Joe Welsh, or myself, on an informal/no commitment basis. We will happily give you information on what’s involved and answer any queries you may have on how you can help.
