To recognise the achievements and service of our members, we have developed a set of Club Awards. The awards recognise effort, enthusiasm, skill, commitment, attitude and teamwork amongst other things...

· Lifesaver of the Year

· Lifeguard of the Year (Pool and Beach)

· Competitor of the Year (Adult and Junior)

· Teacher/Trainer of the Year

· NSVL Special Award

· Most Improved Rookie of the Year (x4)

· Most Improved Lifesaver of the Year (x2)

In most cases the committee or teachers/trainers will provide nominations, and the awards will be decided by the Honours Committee. There will also be a Friends of NSVL award for any non-members who have made a substantial contribution to the club. Any member can provide nominations for this award.

Aside from all the serious awards, there will also be a selection of light-hearted awards to remember all the pratfalls, prima donnas and priceless quotes of the year.
