The surf forecast is for Tynemouth Longsands, however will give an indication of surf size (if not quality) at Whitley Bay. Tynemouth is the main surfing beach in the area, although Whitley Bay sometimes gets better surf when Tynemouth is poor.  Whitley Bay is generally best at mid tide.
