  • Quick thinking
  • Saving lives

These are just some of the skills you can learn from becoming a lifesaver! Lifesaving is a great way to get fit, save lives, have fun, and get qualifications which will impress future employers and universities.

It also provides a perfect background if you want to go on to become a lifeguard from age 16 and earn some money while you study.

If you are taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh programme, then Lifesaving can count towards your award.

For the more competitive amongst you, there is also Lifesaving Sport at the beach and in the pool which is one of the most demanding multi-discipline sports in the world and the only humanitarian based sport.
